How Positivity Can Help You With Success

Positivity helps with success

I had the lovely opportunity of being sent a copy of Blissfull Soul’s Lifestyle Design Workbook. I had previously heard of the book but wasn’t too sure what it was like. All I knew was that I found Blissfull Soul unbelievably inspirational.

So let me just explain to you a little bit about the book, and then we’ll get into how thinking positively can help with success. The Lifestyle Design book is a workbook, meaning you work through the book and fill it in. It walks you through different aspects of your life from your relationships with people, to your life goals and even financial goals.

It was really interesting going through the book. I really liked that fact that we can fill it in. Thinking of things just stays in your head, but when you have the chance to write it down, it’s almost like you can look at the situation from the outside and analyse it. If you get my drift? Honestly, I am not used to writing things down, especially if they are my feelings. But I have found that it’s helpful because it’s almost like you are putting into words how you feel, letting it out and making a change.

So as a workbook, this book is extremely helpful. Not only do you start to think about your life from an outside point of view, you can also start to plan how and where you want it to go.

There is so much to the book itself but one thing that really stood out to me was the positivity throughout. For example, there is a page with affirmations.

I AM worthy of happiness, I AM worthy of success beyond measure. I AM worthy of commitment, I AM worthy of love that fills my heart till it pours over.”

We are then told to write our own affirmations. This is great as it starts to get us to think of things we are worthy of. Especially if you are a person who is constantly doing things for other people, sometimes, even unintentionally you might forget that you are worthy of things too.

I also found very helpful that the book isn’t just a workbook. Hoda also explains things before we work on it. Here’s a little bit about how positivity can help with success. On this particular page above, Hoda talks about energy. This is what she says,

The energy you send out into the world is in exact proportion to the energy you will receive.”

She basically talks about thinking of things positively and sending out a positive energy. It will be received in a good energy form, therefore, bringing back positive results. Once you get into this habit, you’ll start to notice the people around you who already lead this life.

It’s also important for us to be able to celebrate other people’s success. Sitting back and feeling jealous only sabotages your own success. We should be able to use other people’s success more for inspiration rather than just wishing to be there. So I love when she says this,

I have made a habit of celebrating people’s achievements with or without them knowing.”

This is important for us as we should love for others what we love for ourselves. Being genuinely happy for other people not only gives us a positive view of their success but it can help us to take our own steps without going into it with a negative view. That’s when we will be able to truly succeed.

your ideal career

The book also starts to get you thinking about your ideal life and career. So it doesn’t just stay in your head as ideas, and it doesn’t just tell you how you should be going about doing it. It also gives you the chance to start planning it yourself.

Just like I mentioned before, writing down what you want to be doing gives you so much more clarity. You start to understand and shape the life you want to be living.

I am still working in the book and working on myself. What I have learnt from it is wonderful and is really helping me to start shaping my ideas and putting them into practice.

This sounds amazing 👍🏻 We really do need positivity. I feel I feel sometimes we can make negativity out of nothing. It’s harmful. Thanks for the review
