By now I am pretty sure you guys are getting used to seeing these Eid decorations setups. And I am hoping that you are loving seeing them as much as I love creating them. This Eid (Eid ul Adha) we decided to use pink, white and faux flowers to create these tea party decorations.
And of course, like usual, I collaborated with the wonderful Twenty Five Star to create this setup. And honestly, I have to admit, it was probably the easiest and quickest setup we have done so far.
Bringing the whole look together was simple, the only thing I would say that took very long is the preparations beforehand. For example, baking the cakes and biscuits and making the floral chandelier.
The pink ombre cake and white icing biscuits were made by Twenty Five Star. They were both amazing and went really well with the theme we chose. If you’d like to know how to make them, check out her blog > here. She should have the recipes up soon.
The floral chandelier in the pictures is already in my previous post if you would like to know how to make it. Check out the post > here. This was the first part of the setup we made and based our decorations around the colours and vibe of the chandelier.
What we loved the most about these tea party decorations was that it can be used both indoors and outdoors. Because it is summer right now, throwing garden parties are quite common so creating a setup that will also look great outside is what we were aiming for.
And we wanted it to also be used indoors as some of us may prefer an indoor party. You can be really flexible and change up how it looks depending on what you prefer. We loved the idea of having the seating on the floor giving a more relaxed and casual vibe.
For us, when creating the look, it was all about getting that centrepiece up above the table setting and having everything else go with the theme. So the cake was made pink ombre which we thought would go really well with the different shades of pink in the floral chandelier.
The main colours in the table settings are pinks, whites and creams which are the same colours we used for the flowers in the floral chandelier.
As we chose floor seating this time, we felt it might be a great idea to use a buttoned pouffe as the table. It created a luxurious type of feel to the whole tea party decorations. At the same time, it created a cosy and comfortable vibe as everything is cushioned.
We used an actual chandelier inside the flower chandelier as we felt it would add to the luxurious feel of the setting. It added the right amount of glam we needed to the tea party decorations.
Overall, we absolutely love this setup. It has become our favourite Eid decorations setup so far. Creating this tea party was wonderful for several reasons. One of them being that everything came together so naturally and on the day it was very quick to set up. Another reason is that we both love pink and flowers. Of course working with something you love always makes the creating process more exciting.
I hope you enjoyed seeing the setup as much as Twenty Five Star and I enjoyed creating it.
