Using LED Fairy Lights on a Floral Chandelier

September 3, 2018

Okay, so you have decorated for your home and created a beautiful floral chandelier. And as stunning as it looks you want your chandelier to still show when the lights are turned down. So what do you do? Of course, wrap some LED fairy lights around your floral chandelier!

We all know how beautiful things can look once they are lit up with lights. Now imagine how stunning floral arrangements can become once they light up.

Here I have styled a faux flower chandelier, that I made, with some LED fairy lights. I simply took the lights and wrapped them around the chandelier. When the lights are switched on, it creates a lovely glowing set of flowers.

All of the flowers in the chandelier are artificial. I took some LED fairy lights and wrapped them around particular flowers so they stand out and light up. When the lights are switched on you will notice that the roses and peonies are highlighted. It makes the perfect cosy atmosphere to be in especially when the little lights glow whilst you sit underneath it.

The best part about using LED fairy lights is that they are so easy to style on the flowers. Especially if they are wire fairy lights. They pretty much hold themselves however you decide to style them.

If you are using a floral chandelier, another way you could style it with the fairy lights is to hang them down the floral chandelier. They would dangle on the arrangement and light up all the way down so it looks like there are little lights hanging off the floral chandelier.

I love the idea of adding LED fairy lights to the floral chandelier. What is amazing is that you can create a vibe just through the lighting you choose. And depending on the colours of LED fairy lights you decide to go for, you can create the atmosphere of your choice.

Although I have only demonstrated the fairy lights on a floral chandelier, I believe it could create a wonderful look in other floral arrangements. If like me you love having flowers at home you can use them in other flowers you may have. For example, inside a box of faux flowers. It creates lovely little pockets of your home that are lit up.

Sit back and watch it become the perfect cosy place for you at home by just adding some LED fairy lights. It’s a very easy look to achieve. It can definitely take a simple floral arrangement and take it to the next level by making it stand out. And, at the same time, creates the perfect atmosphere for you.

Oooh this is such a good idea. Would love to see what it looks like at night time. Did you go for battery powered led fairy lights or ones that run from the mains?
